Love at First Sentence

It is here, friends.

Issue numero uno has officially been released. Look to the right side of the screen, click, buy. It's looking pretty damn good, like I'd want to buy it a drink. Illustrations look great(thanks Jackie), covers awesome (good job Andreas). Now it's time for a much needed nap until we start to plan the next issue. Quantities are limited.

Foodshed

So I (Andreas) had a minor setback as far as creation of the zine is concerned. I had food poisoning this weekend which seemed to push everything back. And out and up. But I am back now and will commence the construction after work. We will be placing copies at Quimby's and Chicago Comics as well as online. Yes, that's right, you will be able to purchase our hand bound (stapled), homemade zine online. In the next couple of days. Included in each copy is:

1. Stories and Poems by:
     Jeffrey Belanger
     Daniel Paul
     Crystal Portillo

2. Illustrations by Jacquelyn Astorga

3. A hand-printed cover!

4. Complete awesome-ness!!!!

All for just $3.00 (+S&H if you order online)

I'm out.

New Names, New Beginnings

Due to the unfortunate occurance of another, though undoubtably less cool, Redheaded Stepchild, we have been forced to change our name. Please give a warm welcome to Inkshed Magazine. Yes, we have done a fairly extensive search on Google to see if it was already taken, and if we couldn't find it on the first five pages, then we don't care. Publication date is tentatively set for March 15, or the Ides of March. We couldn't pass up making a Shakespeare reference.
